When you sign up, we store your name and email address. If you sign up with a phone number, we verify ownership of that number with a one-time verification code (OTP) sent by SMS. While you use the app, we store only your learning progress (completed lessons, scores, streak days) — we never store your payment card details ourselves; those are handled solely by our payment processor.
If you choose to sign up or log in with Google Sign-In, the app only requests your name and email address from Google (scopes: email, profile) — used solely to create and sign into your account. This information is not used for any other purpose and is never sold.
The information we collect is used only to improve the course, provide feedback, and send necessary notifications (for example, a streak reminder). We never sell your information to advertising companies.
To understand which ad led a new user to install the app (attribution), the app uses Meta's (Facebook's) SDK, which measures app installs and app opens. For this purpose, device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID and app interaction events may be collected and shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. You can opt out of ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID).
We do not share your personal information with third parties except where necessary to operate the service (for example, storage, our payment processor, and the Google and Meta services described above). We only share information with authorities when legally required to do so.
We take appropriate technical measures to protect your stored data. However, we cannot guarantee that information transmitted over the internet is completely secure.
At any time, you can ask to have your stored data shown to you, corrected, or deleted entirely. Use the dedicated page to delete your account yourself, or contact us at hello@betenbab.com with any request.
